Here's what's happening with The Refuge Project:
Shelves and Painting Done!
Thursday, March 31, 2011
Crystal and Reed had an adventure this past week. Due to flight issues they arrived a day later than planned, and then when we took them to the airport to leave on Monday they were informed of fuel fires that happened in Miami that meant that they couldn't leave Nicaragua until Wednesday. Their response? "Now we can do more!" What a great attitude. We're happy to inform you that did finally make it home safely last night. During their time here they were able to accomplish a lot: they buildt storage shelves for the bedrooms and additionally for the bathrooms, Crystal painted a mural and bible verse on the wall of the boys room, they put together all of the beds, and most importantly went to the neighborhoods to play with the kids.
The shelves for the bedroom, we will mount them on the wall, each kid will be able to have two spots for storage
"This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him." Psalm 91:2
